1. Plug in TAP Monitor Digital Pyrometer to a wall outlet.
The TAP Monitor Standalone includes a USB power adapter so that you can just plug your new digital pyrometer into a standard wall outlet. Plug the other end into the USB port in the controller housing. Now, you can power on the TAP Monitor!
2. Run the included thermocouple to the interior of your kiln.
TAP Monitor uses a Type K thermocouple to precisely measure the temperature from the interior of your kiln. You will need to run the thermocouple to the interior of your kiln through an access port or by drilling a small hole through your kiln wall. The other end of the thermocouple lead plugs into your controller housing. Easy as that!
3. Connect TAP Monitor to TAP Kiln Control Mobile
Now that installation is complete, it’s time to connect TAP Monitor to WiFi so that you can pair your TAP Monitor with TAP Kiln Control Mobile!
