Returns & Repairs Policy

Returns

If you are unhappy with your item, please let us know. Our Returns Policy provides you 30 days to return or exchange an item bought online with a valid receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the returned product must be in a re-saleable condition. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. The item must be returned with any included accessories. Any items deemed not to be in a saleable condition will be returned to you and a refund will not be issued.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Once your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the original payment method. Any incurred shipping costs will not be refunded.

In the event that your TAP Kiln Control product requires repair or replacement, whether within the warranty period or not, we will issue a prepaid shipping label via FedEx, along with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

To request an RMA number, the customer will contact SDS Industries by email or phone and provide a description of the problem. SDS Industries will determine whether a return/repair is necessary and will provide instructions for removal and return of the product.

The customer must complete the online Return form and provide credit card details which will be used in the event repairs are outside of the warranty period. The credit card will also be used to cover shipping costs of the product back to the Buyer if no issue with the product is discovered or if the TAP Kiln Control product was outside the warranty period.

If the TAP Kiln control product is outside the warranty period or deemed to have been damaged because of the conditions which void the warranty, a quote will be provided for repair/replacement prior to any work being completed. You have the option of requesting the product back as-is. 

The Buyer shall not be required to deliver a defective part to SDS Industries if (1) the part was destroyed because of its defect or because of any defect in any part covered in the Warranty; and (2) the Seller is reasonably satisfied that the part was defective at the time of sale. If both conditions are met, SDS Industries shall replace the part in the same manner provided herein as if the Buyer had delivered the same to SDS Industries.

Repair & Replacement

Loaner

A limited stock of replacement units is available should equipment failure create an emergency. What constitutes an “emergency” is solely determined at the discretion of the Seller.  Immediately contact SDS Industries to explain the situation  and request a “loaner.” A replacement unit will then be shipped, if available. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer unless there was an original product defect and the product is covered under warranty. Please refer to and follow repair and return procedures for the malfunctioning unit. Upon receipt of the repaired unit, the replacement must be returned, prepaid by the Buyer, to SDS Industries. If the replacement unit has not been returned within 30 days.
