However, all of the kiln controllers in the TAP Ecosystem are compatible with almost every relay-controlled kiln.

Yes, TAP II and TAP II Pro (as well as all of the other controllers in the TAP Ecosystem) are all compatible with Paragon kilns.

In fact, we announced that TAP Controllers would now be available as a default, out-the-box option on Paragon Kilns!

Initially, this default integration will only be available on select models but will be expanding to additional models.

Alternatively, if you already own a Paragon kiln, we offer conversion kits in our online store specifically designed for replacing other Paragon controller options with TAP. 

Yes, TAP II and TAP II Pro (as well as all of the other controllers in the TAP Ecosystem) are all compatible with Skutt kilns and provide a host of benefits over their default, rebranded Bartlett controllers.

These include:

• More intuitive touchscreen & navigation
• Large, easy-to-read text
• Unlimited custom firing schedules (vs. only 30)
• Complete firing log data (vs. just the last 10)

Notably, TAP provides a major upgrade over Skutt’s KilnLink App, which only has 1.8 stars on the App Store and 2.6 stars on Google Play, compared to 4.9 stars and 4.1 stars for TAP Kiln Control Mobile.

Alternatively, if you already own a Skutt kiln, we offer conversion kits in our online store specifically designed for replacing Skutt controllers with TAP with minimal or no modification to your kiln.

TAP Kiln Controllers are fully compatible with Olympic’s electric kilns and provide a host of benefits over their default controllers (Olympic kilns usually come with Bartlett controllers by default).

Alternatively, if you already own an Olympic kiln, we offer conversion kits on our online store specifically designed for installing TAP Kiln Controllers on an Olympic kiln. 

Yes, TAP is compatible with L&L kilns and provides a host of benefits over their default controllers (L&L kilns use rebranded Bartlett controllers).

Alternatively, if you already own an L&L kiln, we offer conversion kits on our online store specifically designed for installing TAP Kiln Controllers on an L&L kiln. 

Yes, TAP is compatible with Cress kilns and provides a host of benefits over their default controllers (Cress’s default automatic controllers are rebranded Bartlett controllers).

Alternatively, if you already own a Cress kiln, we offer aftermarket conversion kits on our online store specifically designed for upgrading Cress kilns’ automatic controller. If your Cress kiln is manual, a TAP Standalone Kiln Controller lets you easily upgrade your kiln to TAP! 

Some kiln brands and manufacturers don’t offer TAP Kiln Controllers as a pre-installed controller option…yet (we’re still working on that!). However, that doesn’t mean that those kilns are not compatible with TAP. Almost every relay-controlled electric kiln is.

Alternatively, you can purchase a conversion kit from our online store which lets you easily swap out your existing controller for TAP. This is a great option to install a TAP Controller on a new or an existing kiln or oven.
